The idea for Pleso Therapy came to me at the end of 2020. I saw how many people were struggling to find reliable therapists they could trust. In 2021 we built and launched our platform – carefully selecting therapists and creating a safe space for clients. From the very start, quality has been our foundation.
I moved to Britain when I was 16. I went through school here, did my A levels, then university and a master’s degree. In many ways, I grew up in the UK, and it shaped how I see the world. That’s why bringing Pleso Therapy here feels so important to me — it’s not just about expanding a platform, it’s about creating something that truly fits the culture and supports people in the way I know is needed.
Yours Sincerely,
Oleksandr

When I was first contacted about joining the platform, I expected just another service with little care for quality. As a therapist myself, I’ve seen too many clients harmed by inexperienced specialists.
But I was genuinely surprised — not only by how quickly the team moved, but also by how seriously they treat quality. Every therapist needs proper education, real experience, and ongoing development. That care is what gives clients trust, and what makes me proud to be part of Pleso Therapy.
With best wishes,
Anna
Since our foundation, we’ve carried a simple principle:: "We solve an incredibly important client need — happiness and wellbeing. Revenue is only the outcome of this work. That’s why every decision, every action, and every word must be tested against one question: ‘Will this truly improve our client’s mental state?’" Much time has passed, but these words remain just as relevant. Every update, every choice, is still filtered through this one simple question.
Every day, we work to break the stigma around seeking psychological support. Some believe therapy is only for the weak; others think online therapy cannot work. We know neither is true. Therapy is not shameful — it is practical, important, and life-changing. Just as physical health depends on everyday habits, mental health is built from small steps that create the foundation for a happier life. Whatever happens, we are here to help you lay those foundations and build your own path towards wellbeing.
Even before the full-scale invasion, we saw a sharp rise in requests for help with anxiety and stress. The country was living with deep uncertainty, and our services became a reflection of that reality. When the invasion began, we temporarily suspended services to regroup. Many of our therapists had to evacuate at short notice, and some were caught under temporary occupation. We supported them as best we could during that time.
Once some of our therapists were safe, we began offering free and low-cost therapy to anyone in need. We also launched free therapeutic groups to reach as many people as possible. That commitment continues today — we are still here, providing support whenever and wherever it is needed.
After starting in Ukraine, we launched in Poland and then in Romania — where we grew into one of the leading online therapy platforms. Along the way, we built trusted local teams, supported thousands of clients, and developed strong therapist communities.
Now we are ready — and deeply honoured — to expand to the UK. Here, we have built a dedicated team on the ground, focused on ensuring every therapist meets the highest UK standards and is a member of a recognised governing body. Our goal is to offer not only flexible online therapy, but also a service rooted in local culture, professionalism, and trust.
