The idea to found "Pleso" came into my mind at the end of 2020. I was looking for a psychologist, but, unfortunately, it was very difficult to find them on the Internet. I had no opportunity to get a recommendation from friends, and those kind of services did not suit me for a number of reasons.
That is why, already in 2021, we created and launched our Platform. pleso therapy is about online, so we were developing our product on the principles of IT sphere.
We've done a ton of surveys to create a product really needed by our customers, and our developers make it happen.
Carefully selected psychotherapists are ready to work with you, and every day our technological solutions are improving to provide you with the best service.
Kindly,
Oleksandr

When I was contacted about cooperation on the Platform, I thought, "Another platform with psychologists, where you cannot find out if the specialists really know what they are doing." From personal experience, I know how many clients end up with inexperienced specialists and negative consequences of this.
But I was pleasantly surprised by the demands made by the organizers for the selection of candidates. I really like the fact that a psychologist should have a higher psychological education, work experience and constant professional self-improvement. This gives the client a guarantee of the psychological services quality and the opportunity to find the necessary solution. It is important for our team to bring the psychological service of Ukraine to a new, better level. That’s what we’re working on.
Best regards,
Anna
From the very beginning of our foundation, we've added the following words to the home page of our work accounts. "We solve an incredibly important problem of the client (happiness and well-being), and money is the right result of this activity. Therefore, every decision we make, every action we take and every word we say should be checked as follows: "Will this action actually improve our client's morale?" It's been a long time, but these words continue to be relevant, and every update and solution should comply with this fairly simple question.
Every day we work to break down the stigma around psychological help. Some people think our services are only for the weak, while others say that it is impossible to work online. We believe that’s not true. Psychotherapy is not embarrassing, it’s convenient, it’s important. As with physical health care, mental health is about the little bricks we build the foundation of our happy life with. And whatever happens, we’re here to help you build your own foundation for your happy life.
Even before the full-scale invasion, we began to record rapid growth in number of anxiety and stress-related requests. Our country was uncertain about the future, and our services have become the backbone of the situation. When the invasion began, we suspended service for a while to regroup. Many of our therapists had to evacuate quickly, and someone was under temporary occupation. We supported them as much as we could.
When at least some of the therapists were safe, we started providing free and low-cost psychological help services to anyone who needed it. We've also started running free therapy groups to reach as many people as possible. We continue to provide assistance even now.
From the very beginning of our work, we've decided for ourselves that we want to push back the boundaries and provide psychological support in different countries. It was Poland as our next country. And at one point a little miracle happened. We applied to various programs and in June we received two great news.
First, we were admitted to the Ukraine Support Fund program from Google, and then to MIT EF CEE Poland Prize acceleration program. These programs have given us the necessary impetus and resource to begin our foreign history. We’re very happy that at such a time we have the opportunity to present the Ukrainian product to the world. We’re sure it's just the beginning!
